Like I said, I must have been a very good girl.
Yesterday, I felt pretty crappy all day. I was nauseous and had a headache. Honestly, I think it was all the sugar I have been eating coupled with sinus head congestion. So, I'm quitting sugar through January. Of course I can have natural sugars (fruit), and I won't be quitting booze since New Years and Mardi Gras season are aroud the corner, but no more cookies, candy, cake, and ice cream.
Added bonus, hopefully kicking sugar out of my diet will help me shed a few holiday pounds. I'm starting to get a Santa-like belly. :( I'll be updating you on a daily-ish basis letting you know how "project sugar free january" is going.
I'm off all week, so I will have time to fit in some extra workouts. :) Also on my agenda for the week: cooking with my new toys, shopping trip to Houston with my mom, preparing for a baby shower I'm hosting in mid-January, hunting with my dad, and lots of reading!
