What I'm Loving Wednesday

- My favorite CrossFit athlete (besides those I know personally), Julie Foucher.

This girl is awesome!  She is a med school student and still found the time to train hard enough to place 2nd in the CrossFit games this past weekend.

And for any lady who thinks CrossFit will make them "bulky" or "manly", just go look at some pictures of this girl.  She is strong (like ridiculously strong), but still extremely feminine.

- Half marathon training officially starts Monday...Eeek!  I'm nervous and excited.

Running 4 days a week means I'm going to have to get up really early and cut back on my CrossFit.  I'm gladly welcoming back Saturday morning long runs.  There is nothing like the feeling of being awake before the rest of the world, conquering double digit mileage.

- Supportive family and friends.  I have big plans on the horizon that involve some major life changes.  Almost everyone I have discussed it with has been encouraging, positive, and genuinely excited for me.  It makes me so thankful and so thrilled about my future.  (I promise I will fill you in more when things are finalized.)

- Cucumbers.  They are definitely one of my top 5 favorite foods ever.

Sunday, I ate the best cucumber I've ever had in my entire life.  It was so flavorful, crisp, and perfect.  My dad grew it in his garden, so it was fresh off the vine.  I'm drooling thinking about how good it was.  I wish summer could go on forever so I could have endless pool days and endless fresh homegrown cucumbers and tomatoes.

- It's Wednesday!  Which means my last 13 hour workday of the week.  (I work job #2 Monday through Wednesday.) Wednesdays almost feel like Fridays and having a free afternoon feels like such a luxury.  Although, tomorrow afternoon, I have to cut my grass.  The yard is starting to look like a jungle after all the rain last week.

- The rain has stopped! Sort of.  Afternoon showers are still popping up here and there, but at least the sun is out.

What are you loving?
Are you a cucumber fan?  As much as I love cucumbers, I hate pickles!
