The author also wrote Seabiscuit. Horse stories aren't my thing, so I was skeptical, but so many people have raved about this book. It's the biography of a WWII veteran, Louis Zamperini. The first few chapters (as far into the book as I have read) are about his childhood and his time training and competing as a runner in the Olympics in Germany. (He met Adolf Hitler!) So far, so good.
2. What I'm Listening to: This song came on Pandora yesterday while I was working. I stopped what I was doing to listen. It's just so dang good!
This is another song so stinking good that it prompts stopping what I'm doing so I can listen:
3. What I'm Eating: Pulled pork
and Cucumber "Seaweed" Salad
and Whole Roasted Tomatoes with Baked Eggs
4. What I'm Watching: Friends reruns.
The only time I've really had to watch TV is after 10 PM, so my pickings are slim, but Friends never gets old. Plus, I'm not too heartbroken when I fall asleep in the middle of an episode because I've seen every single one no less than 5 times.
5. What I'm Pinning:
What are you reading? Listening to? Eating? Watching? Pinning?
