What I'm Loving Wednesday

  • Last week, I picked up the Chargrilled & Fruit Salad from Chik-fil-A for lunch.  Yum!

And the nutrition stats aren't too shabby. Most of the sugars and carbs are naturally from the fruit, and I threw off the cheese, so had a little less fat and calories.

I paired it with half a packet of reduced fat berry balsamic dressing.

Ingredients list isn't too clean...maybe next time I'll pack my own dressing.

About 90% of the time, I eat lunch at home; This will be my new I have been too busy to grocery shop and have nothing in my fridge to throw together for lunch lunch.

  • My dad loves Lola.  He is babysitting his granddog this weekend and taking her to the lake. They are both excited.   It makes being away from her for the weekend easier knowing she's having fun.
Her paw-paw loves her, but I bet, unlike her Auntie, he won't make sure she has eye protection from the sun.

  • Last night I ran into a friend, who I know only through her ex-boyfriend.  Since they broke up, I didn't expect to see her anymore.  I'm so glad we bumped into each other because we instantly bonded over things only she and I could understand (related to exes).  We're having drinks soon to dish on it more!

The Daily Spark at Matchbook: Field Guide to a Charmed Life for making me want clothes I cannot afford, inspiring my style, and bringing more pretty into my life.

Hostess With the Mostess for providing shower ideas (I feel like a throw one every other weekend) and making me want to have fancy parties with adorable details that will stress me out and in no way lead to me or anyone else having a better time.

And the countless healthy living blogs I read for sharing workouts, recipes, tips, tricks, and for being kindred spirits (ie. wierd, neurotic, quirky) and making me feel more sane.

  • Tomorrow is my Friday.  And I'm off Monday.  And I'm spending my extra long weekend at the beach!

Me at the beach! The beach I'm hitting this weekend has sands of a much darker shade.  And the waters aren't so blue.  But without Gulf Coast beaches we wouldn't appreciate Carribean beaches, right?!?

What are you loving on this fine Wednesday?

  1. I'm loving chocolate soy milk. Sounds crazy, but it makes my day and is perfect in my morning coffee :D

    1. I'm glad it makes your day! I think we are happier overall if we take time to appreciate the little things.

  2. I am loving finally sitting on my bed! I babysat a 1.5 year old today, which is exhausting all in itself. I'm also loving my new road bike, still.

    1. Oh my! That's a hard age to keep up with. I think that babysitting is more exhausting than a really intense workout!
